Objectives

It is my goal to continue working at developing new aesthetic ideas that explore spatial relationships through sculptural compositions using a variety of materials. I continue to design and build original sculpture and furniture, work on private commissions , compete in national shows and conduct workshops, while maintaining an active exhibition record.

Experience

Artist/Sculptor/Designer: MAW Studio (1985 – 2010, Spencer. Indiana | 2010 – Present, Tucson. Arizona)

Own and operate a sculpture studio designing original sculpture, furniture and outdoor environmental works. Exhibits nationally and accepts commissions. Conducts workshops and slide lectures with focus on woodworking, environmental sculpture, and kinetic sculpture.

Oversaw the MFA sculpture graduate program with focus on metal casting in the foundry area. Designed and conducted a furniture design course.
